Ou Kenan

Executive Director (Planning)

Kenan is the Executive Director of MORROW, a Full Member of the Singapore Institute of Planners, and a Council Member of the Singapore China Association. She brings extensive urban planning experience in Singapore and abroad, particularly in China. Her expertise spans large-scale urban planning projects, ranging from new towns of several tens of
thousands to constellation cities of over ten million people. In addition to collaborations
with government agencies, she has also worked with private developers on diverse projects
such as Central Business Districts, Tourism Districts, Town Centres, High-Tech Parks, Residential Neighbourhoods, and Coastal and Waterfront Developments.

With over 20 years of professional experience, including 16 years in Singapore, Kenan has built a distinguished career in urban planning and design. Since 2009, she has served as an Associate at RSP Architects Planners and Engineers. From 2008 to 2009, she was a visiting scholar at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany, where she researched new town developments in Europe and Asia during the 1950s–60s shaped by modernist theory. Earlier in her career, she worked with the Urban Planning and Design Institutions of Shenzhen and Southeast University in Nanjing. In addition to urban planning, she has experience in architectural and landscape design.
