Kenan has rich and extensive planning experience in Singapore and China and is responsible for MORROW’s Chinese public sector projects. She is a Director at MORROW, Deputy General Manager of MORROW Shanghai and a Full Member of the Singapore Institute of Planners. Her expertise lies in Urban Planning and has completed the planning of many large cities in China, with population sizes ranging from tens of thousands in new towns to ten million in constellation cities. Besides working on projects directly with China Government, she also plans various types of projects for private developers, such as Central Business Districts, Tourism Districts, Town Centres, High-Tech Parks, Residential and Neighbourhoods.
With more than 10 years spent working in Singapore since 2009, she worked as an Associate with RSP Architects Planners and Engineers. Before that, she had 6 years of working experience in China, at the Urban Planning and Design Institution of Southeast University in Nanjing and the Urban Planning and Design Institution of Shenzhen. She is equally adept at architectural and landscape design projects too.
