Having previously undertaken renovation works for the existing manufacturing facility of a globally renowned brand, we were subsequently engaged to concurrently plan and design a facility extension to support the Client’s regional expansion in Southeast Asia. A notable feature of the proposed extension was the implementation of a comprehensive Engineered Smoke Control system, necessitated by the large fire compartment sizes within the overall building scheme. The project progressed through detailed design development and submission to the relevant authorities for development control approval, reaching the tender stage and nearing contractor award. Unfortunately, the project was eventually discontinued by the Client due to unforeseen circumstances.
